The QuikCal line of portable gas calibrators is based on a simple but novel concept for which a patent has just issued. Because of their inherent insensitivity to ambient temperature, these units are ideally suited to field calibration of sensors and monitoring systems but are equally at home replacing compressed gas cylinders in the lab. The initial product will be an ammonia calibrator but others are planned for a variety of volatile compounds.
